Description
Affolder Equipment Sales is seeking an experienced commercial equipment sales representative to join our team. Sales representatives are responsible for managing current customer accounts, new customer accounts, and seeking out opportunities to expand Affolder’s market area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers
- Keep track of equipment inventory
- Work closely with Parts and Service Departments
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Delivers sold equipment to customers
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong time management.
- Electronic and hard copy organization.
- Knowledge of commercial ag and construction equipment.
- Works extremely well with the public.
- 3+ years of experience in a correlating field.

Service Technician - Minster, OH
Description
Affolder Equipment Sales is seeking an experienced outdoor equipment service technician to join our team at our Minster, OH location. Service technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on agricultural, turf, utility, and compact equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnosing equipment, providing service recommendations, and repairing equipment.
- Setting up new units and performing pre-delivery inspections.
- Performing routine annual maintenance on customer equipment.
- Installing after market products on new customer equipment.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Cognitive and able to take direction.
- Strong time management.
- Flexible and able to multi task.
- Ability to manage stress while operating to achieve deadlines.
- 2+ years of experience in a correlating field preferred.
